S12A from Becker: Awning meets KNX.

The SMI version of our premium sun protection drive. If you control your building using a KNX system and you want to integrate your awning or other sun protection products, the S12A sun protection drive is the best choice for you. Whether you’re using a top-quality cassette awning or the open articulated-arm awning: the S12A sun protection drive is able to operate various sun protection products as carefully as possible thanks to its programmed intelligence. It interacts with the various sensors for sun, wind and rain, while continually adapting its torque and stopping force according to the motto “as hard as necessary, as soft as possible”. This will allow you to enjoy your sun protection product and its drive for a long time.

Compatible with sun/wind/rain sensors for maximum convenience

Automatic shading solution length adjustment: The shading solution length is automatically detected and corrected by the drive

Higher closing force for devices such as cassette awnings

Fabric tensioning function: The drive tensions the fabric by moving to a freely adjustable reversing position - function can be activated/deactivated

Fabric untensioning: The drive protects the fabric by untensioning it in the upper stop limit position - function can be activated/deactivated
