For folding arm awnings

Folding arm awnings will have the fabric pulled out from the fabric roller barrel by two (or more) articulated arms. These awnings can be up to 15 metres wide and project out up to 5 metres. The awning will extend and retract with spring loaded arms which help to keep the fabric taut. There are various types of cassetted hoods, which allows the awning to retract neatly away. These types of sun protection systems offer shade both to your home as well as to your outside living area.

Awning automation

Automating your awnings will maximise the value and benefit from your system. Sensors can detect if the sun is becoming more intense and will open your awnings or bring down your ZIP screens or window blinds automatically. You can even set a more secure position where your sun sensor will only send your folding arm awning to a less exposed position, perhaps half way, but still offering your home the sun protection it needs. Your home will stay pleasantly cool for when you get home from work. The sensor can also detect when the weather is changing, be it the sun is being over shadowed or if the wind is picking up. The Becker drive can bring in your Awning, Blind or Zip Screen as required. Thanks to the sensor and the intelligent drives, your system can do exactly what you want it to – even when you are not there.
