Becker yesterday to today 100 years of quality
Becker was founded in 1921, by two brothers, Emil and Adolf Becker. By 1965 Becker started to develop and manufacture door drives and the associated control units. Then in 1971 Becker extended their range by adding tubular drives for roller shutters and sun protection systems. We also started to develop and produce electronic control equipment. By 2000, the first drives with integrated radio receivers were added to the range. Then in 2007 the current radio equipment, Centronic, was introduced, followed by CentronicControl home automation in 2013. More recently we have seen the gradual introduction of Centronic Plus, Becker’s bi-directional radio system.
Today the Becker family still own and work within the company, whilst it has grown into an internationally sought after provider, where quality and responsibility matter. The company still retain its original site in Sinn, Hesse, where the company was founded. Becker continues to develop and manufacture our products in Germany.
Becker Australia began in 2007, bringing all the ideals and philosophies of our German Head Office to the local market. Today, Becker Australia is one of the leading suppliers in the automation of roller shutters and sun protection in Australia.
